EMJC has recently held two successful donation campaigns!
One benefited a Pregnancy Center in Rockville, MD where we collected
many boxes of diapers, wipes, baby toys and blankets.
The other was a collection of paper goods and toiletries that was donated to a
Homeless Shelter, Project Echo, in Calvert County that is near and dear to our hearts.

Sewing Love
Tonya Tiffany, who is Rabbi Rubin’s Assistant, has been at work on her sewing machine during the Covid Pandemic. She is a member of the Faithful Circle Quilters Guild and has joined in their efforts to help supply over 100 scrub caps and over 2000 face masks to essential personnel as well as veterans. Tonya personally sewed 13 scrub caps and dozens of face masks. When neighbors were not able to get fabric from the store fast enough, she donated approximately 55 yards of fabric. The neighbors have all been told to go to her instead of the store if they are making masks to give away.
